It is well known that our behavior is sometimes motivated by unconscious beliefs and desires. Therefore, it makes sense that healing can occur by accessing the subconscious mind to untangle the roots. Hypnotherapy involves going into a relaxed, focused and highly concentrated state. When in a hypnotic “trance,” the client responds well to suggestions and questions without the critical mind interfering.
The Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy model is a participatory process in which the client not only dives into important memories but also is encouraged to tap into the emotions attached to those memories. The process includes physically releasing the energy of those emotions from the body with guidance from the therapist. This can be very cathartic! Many fear that they will be out of control while in this state, but this is a myth, and we can go over any fears or concerns beforehand.
Hypnotherapy is woven into the therapy process to ensure proper preparation and reinforcement of the work that is achieved in the actual hypnotherapy session. This includes a 1 hour intake session ($165), so that you and your therapist can understand and assess your needs as well as establish a plan for your hypnotherapy sessions. Hypnotherapy sessions are often 90 minutes ($205) and 1 hour follow up therapy sessions ($140) often support the integration of your experience. Although somewhat intense, Heart-centered Hypnotherapy can be extremely helpful and thorough in understanding the root of our blocks, and in repairing and healing the child within, so that we can move forward in life more effectively. It is also important to set intentions ahead of time so that we can focus on addressing a specific issue or pattern. Is Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy for you?

How Do I Know If I’m Covered for Your Services?
You can verify your eligibility and benefits by calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card. Some questions to ask are, “What are my outpatient mental health benefits?", “Do I have a co-pay, co-insurance, or deductible for outpatient mental health services?”, and “Are there any limits or authorizations required?”
Your exact coverage and the amount you will owe cannot be confirmed until a claim has been filed and processed by your insurance provider. Please note that not all services may be covered by insurance. This includes, but is not limited to, wellness workshops, and music therapy.
