JANUARY: The Body’s Natural Relaxation Response—Honing In On Our Inner Resources

January 28, 2019, 7:30 – 9pm at 3806 West Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL 60618 with Amy Goldbeck, LPC, R-DMT, CH. Use your body’s natural relaxation response as an inroad to your inner resources. Through meditation and light hypnosis, your body finds a calmness…allowing muscles to relax, to-do thoughts to float away, and the conscious mind to go into sleep mode. Another part of you can then awaken. You will be guided to go deep within yourself, tapping into your essence or true nature. You will tap into the Divine part–your soul or Spiritual Self. It is here that we will refresh and remember our gifts, our worth, and our loving energy through affirmations, both given and created. These affirmations will reverberate and absorb within you and throughout. You will awaken with a lightness, full of self-love, and a focused perspective on how to move forward into the New Year!

Our lives can be cluttered with chaos, confusion, stress, heavy workloads, taking care of family and bills, maintaining our health — mentally, emotionally or physically, or just dealing with unresolved issues in general. We are consistently repeating this hamster wheel on a daily basis. People, places, and things can pull us in a direction that can set us up for unhappiness if we are not careful. What does it mean to find joy, peace, and happiness despite the challenges that life can bring? What do you need to take off your plate without worry or fear of it all tumbling down? What do you consistently do on a daily basis to take care of you, you and you alone, without regret or guilt? In what ways do you show you that you love you Each day can be different for us and bring on new challenges. Regardless of what the day brings, we need to make sure that our head, heart and soul is taken care of. Learn how to truly love you by keeping your cup filled. You are worthy of the best that life has to offer!

The second part of the workshop will focus on creating a collaborative choreography, bringing together group resources to create a sense of cohesion and connection.
